Specializing in in-house production of radiopharmaceuticals, quality control, and system-level workflow design, he focuses on optimizing the entire operational framework of radiopharmaceutical practice, including PET tracer synthesis, QC, supply management, and education systems.
In recent years, his work has emphasized the development of sustainable operational systems in clinical settings by integrating troubleshooting experiences and practical knowledge into structured workflows and educational resources.
After graduating from the Faculty of Engineering at Tottori University, he pursued graduate studies in material and biological informatics at the Graduate School of Human Informatics, Nagoya University. He subsequently engaged in research and technical development in both industry and research institutions, including the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST), the National Center for Geriatrics and Gerontology, and Nagoya University, and obtained a doctoral degree in protein chemistry. He is currently involved in the production and operational management of radiopharmaceuticals at Fujita Health University Hospital.

During routine operation of an automated QC system, small-volume dispensing showed unstable droplet release, resulting in misplacement on test media. Droplet behavior was sensitive to programmed dispensing volume: 0.011 mL frequently resulted in adhesion to the needle tip, 0.012 mL showed borderline behavior, and 0.013 mL restored stable release. The findings highlight the importance of periodic verification and adaptive adjustment of dispensing parameters in automated radiopharmaceutical quality control.
