Proceedings of the Annual Conference of the Institute of Image Electronics Engineers of Japan, 48 24-24, 2020In recent years, due to frequent sediment disasters and lack of manpower in rural areas, some forest roads have been left collapsed. It is required to reduce the amount of labor needed to patrol forest roads for their maintenance. In order to achieve this goal, we have started to study a method of detecting the collapse of the ground surface by comparing before and after a disaster using a 3D reconstruction of the ground surface from camera and sensors attached to a drone. This paper presents a fundamental study of the method for detecting the location of a sediment disaster by imitating a topographical change.
