My interdisciplinary research focuses on various social issues in an increasingly complex society.

First, I've been researching nonprofit organizations that contribute to social inclusion, according to my accounting and business administration background. Although this field has developed with the maturation of civil society in Japan, it is still in the research stage.I am researching the development of nonprofit organizations to improve their governance by appropriately disclosing organizational information to various stakeholders to get broad support from societies.

Second, I've been researching rulemaking in the service sector industry, drawing on my experience as a JSPS Research Fellow and as a researcher commissioned by the government and other public agencies. In this field, legal regulations seem not yet fully organized and studied in the face of economic difficulties that are becoming increasingly complex due to globalization. Therefore, I've been keen on international economic law, including overseas distribution of personal information, financial service transactions, and protection of consumer rights.

Third, I am engaged in civil education research activities, drawing on my various fields of experience, from law to economics and accounting. I conduct practical research on legal education at universities and the development of teaching material programs on sovereignty education.
