Esther Helen Ratcliff

Since starting at Tokyo Woman's Christian University, I have 

taught classes in the English Department (First Year English 

Seminar & Second Year English Seminar), on the Career English

program (Total Presentation) and also in the English Center 

(Discussion Skills, Communication Skills, Critical Reading and 

Discussion & Listening and Presentation). 



This semester I have been working on incorporating the use

of effective vocabulary notebooks and vocabulary apps in class. 

I have found that these techniques are useful for both in the

classroom and also for encouraging autonomous learning 

outside the classroom.
