Virtual reality based surgical simulator which can present multiple sensation such as visual and haptic feedback requires more huge computational complexity for simulating several sensational attributes. However, calculation resource is limited by available computer performance. Our study aims to provide a virtual organ model reflecting multiple modalities by keeping identical computational complexity for level of detail (LOD) control of simulation performance. In this paper, a modeling method using attribute parameter distribution to Finite Element Method (FEM) based model for controlling simulation quality is proposed.
